What to bring to an in-person event

Below is a list of things to bring with you so we can support you to fill out forms or use our online tools. Please bring your eyeglasses or hearing aids if you use them.

Can I bring family members or my consumer to the event?

Yes, you can bring your family members or consumer to the event.

Do I have to stay for the whole event?

No, you don’t have to stay for the whole event. You can come by any time during the event.

What if I can't attend?

If you can’t attend any of the in-person events, you can sign up for a live webinar. To see the live webinar schedule, click here.

If you park in the Liberty parking garage

If the Parking Pass parking lot is full, use the Liberty parking lot (marked on the map).

  1. Receive a ticket at the parking lot tollbooth.
  2. Park in the Liberty parking lot.
  3. Go to the building entrance on Oregon Street (marked on the map).
  4. Someone will be there to open the door.
  5. Ask a Carewell staff member to give you a validation ticket for parking in the Liberty parking lot.

What is it about? — Carewell SEIU 503 offers a range of benefits including Healthcare Cost Assistance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Dental, Vision + Hearing, and an Employee Assistance Program. Learn more about these benefits, receive any updates to benefit eligibility rules and services provided, and get your questions answered.

Who should join? —Homecare Workers, Personal Support Workers, Personal Care Attendants, and their family members who are planning or preparing to enroll in Medicare or are already enrolled in Medicare.

What is it about? —The Carewell Benefits team and our insurance partners, Valley Insurance Professionals, will review the basics of Medicare and how eligible Medicare participants can use the Healthcare Cost Assistance benefit.

How to Join the Zoom Webinars

If you have any problems joining the webinar, please call 1-844-503-7348. 
By phone (audio only):
  • Dial the Zoom phone number and enter the zoom ID number 
  • Keep in mind that that Zoom phone numbers are not toll-free. If you use the dial-in number, your phone service provider will treat it as a regular phone call charge. Learn about this here. 
By computer or tablet:
  • To watch how to install and use Zoom on your computer or tablet, go here.
  • If you’ve already registered for a webinar and have an email account 
      • Go to the confirmation email from Carewell and click on the webinar link to join 
  •  If you didn’t register or don’t have an email account:
      • Go to zoom.us, click “Join A Meeting” 
      • Enter the Meeting ID number 
      • Click on the “launch Zoom” button
By smartphone:
  • Step 1: Make sure to download the Zoom app before joining the webinar:

  • Step 2:
    • If you’ve already registered for a webinar and have an email account:
