Are these in-person events required?
No, these events are optional. We’re hosting these events to offer direct in-person support to care providers about Carewell Training and Benefits.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please RSVP, so we know you’re coming. If you arrive without signing up, you may have to wait longer to meet with a Carewell staff member.
Do I have to stay for the whole event?
No, you can come at any time during the event.
What if I can’t attend?
If you can’t attend any of the in-person events, you can sign up for a live webinars. To see the live webinars schedule, scroll down this page.
Can I bring my family members or my consumer to the event?
Yes, you can bring your consumer or your family members to the event.

Looking for more ways to learn about topics related to work, benefits, and training?
These are hour-long monthly sessions hosted by the Oregon Home Care Commission (OHCC) in collaboration with Carewell SEIU 503. Register for one of the events to hear important updates, receive resources, and ask your questions.
Are Power Hours required?
No. Power Hours are not a required training, and attending doesn’t count toward any training requirements.
Do I get paid for attending a Power Hour?
No.
How do I adjust the language settings?
There are instructions for how to adjust language settings in English and with an interpreter at the beginning of each session.
What if I can’t attend the event I’m interested in?
Recordings of the Power Hour events along with copies of the presentations are posted to the OHCC website a couple weeks after the event. Check out this page for resources. Please note recordings are only available in English.
