How long is the training?
6 hours. You can attend all 6 hours in 1 in-person session or break it up with a hybrid session. Hybrid sessions start with 4 hours of self-paced content online followed by a 2-hour in-person training.
The 6-hour in-person sessions take place in September and October. The hybrid trainings are in November and December.
Do I need to pay for the training?
No. Training is free for all care providers who’ve completed Carewell’s New Worker Training.
Is the training paid?
No. However, you’ll be eligible for a $0.25 differential once you submit your certificate to OHCC. If you need help with this, please reach out to CPRCert@RISEpartnership.com.

- You must complete new worker training before signing up for this training.
- You must not have already completed a paid CPR/First Aid class from OHCC in the last 2 years.
- You need to pass a skills assessment in person to be eligible for the $0.25 differential.
