Free nursing assistant training is now available to care providers in the Portland Metro area! Care providers in Portland can now earn a nursing assistant certification with extended support from Care Pathways, a Carewell SEIU 503 partner.
The Care Pathways Nursing Assistant Training Program is flexible to fit with your schedule and includes two Oregon State Board of Nursing-approved learning schedules:
- Accelerated Schedule: ~7 weeks, including 2 weeks of self-paced, online learning
- Standard Schedule: ~10 weeks, including 5 weeks of self-paced, online learning
Both schedules also include 1 full-time week of in-person lab learning and 1 full-time week of in-person clinical learning in the Portland Metro area.
Care providers who join this program also receive:

- Career Coaches to guide your professional development
- Paid-for learning materials
